Our second annual World Read Aloud Day was a successful and exciting event. We celebrated literacy with cake and tea, book draws, guest readers, flashlight reading, making book markers and lots of spirit team fun. Thank you to all of our community supporters. Valentine's Day
Students in the Grade 4/5 classroom enjoyed an exciting Valentine's Day. Games, crafts, caring messages and lots of sweet treats kept us entertained.
Thank you Grade 4 & 5. I really appreciated your cards, pictures, posters, kind words, and of course chocolate!

Grade Fives Experiment with the Art Element of Colour
Students created collages, and still life paintings while experimenting with the element of colour. They learned how colour can have an emotional impact on viewers.
Exploring the art style of James Rizzi
In art appreciation class, grades 4 & 5 explored the art of James Rizzi, and created skyscraper compositions mimicking Rizzi's style.
