Celebrating Reading

Our second annual World Read Aloud Day was a successful and exciting event.  We celebrated literacy with cake and tea, book draws, guest readers, flashlight reading, making book markers and lots of spirit team fun.  Thank you to all of our community supporters.  Your generosity is very much appreciated!

Valentine's Day

Students in the Grade 4/5 classroom enjoyed an exciting Valentine's Day. Games, crafts, caring messages and lots of sweet treats kept us entertained.

Thank you Grade 4 & 5.  I really appreciated your cards, pictures, posters, kind words, and of course chocolate!

Heart Shaped Braids!  Very Cool.

Student spent time making Valentine holders.

Students created bears, frogs, owls and even a couple of gophers to hold their cards.
