The Grades 4 and 5 classes experienced an old fashioned school day by participating in our 1800s Day. They arrived at school dressed in pioneer fashion, with plaid shirts, suspenders, lunch pails, aprons, and braided hair. It looked as if our school had gone back in time about 150 years!

| Students always stood up to ask and answer questions. |

| Students also tried their hand at cursive writing using a quill pen and ink. |
 |
| At lunch time we carried our lunch pails outside and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather. |

| We played a variety of pioneer games that the students had previously researched. Here a game of Hoops and Graces is being played. |
