Blowing Paint to Create Fall Trees
Students enjoyed creating a somewhat expressionistic style of art. We began by making a water colour wash background using a selection of fall colours. After drying the background, a bit of watered-down acrylic paint and ink mixture was dropped near the bottom of the student's paper. That's when the fun began, and the grade 4/5 art class used air pressure to "blow" a trunk and branches for their trees. The finished paintings have added a warm autumn look to our hallways.
that was really fun I hope we get to do it again.
