Heritage Fair

Congratulations to Grades 4 & 5 for the awesome effort put into this year's Heritage Fair.  After researching a topic related to Canadian History, students wrote reports, created display boards and participated in our school's Heritage Fair.  Some students also experienced the Regional Heritage Fair where we met new people and enjoyed learning more about our Canadian History.  

Ukrainian Egg Decorating

Students in Grade 4 practiced patience and a steady hand while decorating eggs using the traditional Ukrainian method.

Art From Recycled Pop Bottles

The Grade 5s used permanent markers and recycled pop bottles to create these fantastic fish.  Just in time for Earth Day!

A visit from Classroom Agriculture Program Representatives Enhances Students' Understanding of Food Production 

Students learned more about Alberta agriculture especially in the areas of soil, animals and grain.

So that's how they get fish eggs!!!

Students were treated to some "Worms and Dirt" after learning about soil nutients
